One year after the breakup, Raz still cannot let go of Abigail. One night on the beach, he tries to meet someone new at last, but his heart remains broken. Just before he runs away apologetically, his date confesses that she is actually some kind of witch and offers to fulfill his innermost wish: to see what happened to Abigail during the year since she disappeared from his life. Vision after vision, Raz watches Abigail wander between nighttime encounters and is exposed to everything she can be when she is not with him.
