Abu Dhabi - From a nomadic desert tribe to the forefront of technology in about 60 years. The leader of the Arab Emirates and a proponent of vision and progress, the largest of the 7 emirates, rich in culture, modern splendor, and desert nature.
Sosh Balsenaim is a lecturer and researcher of Islamic countries in the Middle East.
Abu Dhabi is the "center of gravity" politically and security-wise for the United Arab Emirates. In the last decade, it has become one of the most influential players in the entire Middle East, where cardinal decisions are made. The ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, is always the president of the country and is considered the architect of the UAE's bold policy. He leads a very strict line against movements like the "Muslim Brotherhood," viewing them as a threat to regional stability and the governance model of the Gulf states.
All this and much more - with us at Hadar Afeka on Tuesday, 4.8.26 at 19:00.
Participation fee - 20 NIS.
