But she doesn’t just stop there; sometimes she decides to intervene: she sends letters to quarreling neighbors and even travels to distant lands to remind a diver to write to his father who misses him. Throughout the play, the children in the audience help Yona heal an injured letter, write invitations for a building party, and look underwater. The play concludes at the height of the party that Yona organized, where all the children play with rustling envelopes and then drop them into the correct mailbox slot. At the end of the performance, children are invited to a creative workshop to make surprise envelopes that they can take home.
