Miriam, an artist and mother of three, invites Tamar, her younger sister who is pregnant, to explore the female figures in their family. The two sisters examine what is inherited and what can already stop being passed down. A visual theater performance with personal stories, humor, puppets, and clay sculpture.
Further details: Miriam, an artist and mother of three, invites Tamar, her younger sister who is expecting her first child, to explore together the female figures in their family: Grandma Sarah, who painted her nails with gold polish and proudly claimed to be multiorgasmic; and Grandma Penina, who would sneak into the children's house in the kibbutz at night just to cover them. The two sisters examine what is inherited and what can be stopped from being passed down. As the birth approaches, they try to reshape the material from which the women in their family are made and make room for choice, perhaps also for the baby girl who is yet to be born. A visual theater performance using personal stories, lots of humor, puppets, and clay sculpture.
