The Circus of Absences is a meta-world where the acrobat is a floating memory, the elephants are angry tremors, the clowns are longing, and the horses are mad laughter. Mary's spirit guides Charlie through memories, emotions, and fantasy on his journey to find himself again. Over 80 puppets, an empty circus arena, and two performers looking for solace.
