Based on 'The Ugly Duckling' by Hans Christian Andersen, this puppet theater showcases the journey of a peculiar duckling that doesn't fit in. Through discovering its true self, the story explores transformation and self-realization. The play uniquely uses cones to create an imaginative world.

From one of them hatches a different duckling: he doesn't quack like a duck, doesn't move like a duck, and doesn't really look like a duck either. "This is not a duck," declares the stork... So who is he? Just an ugly duckling? How will he manage to overcome obstacles, discover himself, his dreams, his emotions, and eventually become who he was meant to be? A puppet theater where the cone shape is the foundational form from which the world is created: animals, mountains, and trees all derive from the cone shape, creating an environment rich with relationships, imagination, and shape games.
