Habima Theater presents a comedy following a powerful city mayor attempting to appoint a fake candidate for local elections to preserve donor funds and a democratic image. The system falls apart when the cleaner Ilana enters his office as an available solution, and transforms into a symbol of a determined woman who chooses to stay and fight the problem. The production combines sharp political satire with moving moments about resistance and self-control.

Local elections are on the horizon, and the powerful and veteran mayor, Moshe Shvartsman, is worried that no candidate dares to run against him. Without a rival, there's no campaign—and without a campaign, donors' wallets stay closed. Moreover, people might call him a dictator, and he considers himself democracy's greatest advocate. So what's the solution? To create the appearance of a fair election system, they need to find a fictitious opponent—someone so weak that "only their family would vote for them, and even they would hesitate." When the cleaning woman enters the office and starts cleaning, it becomes clear to everyone that the perfect candidate has been found. The cleaning woman's name is Ilana. And she's here to stay!
