The weekend of October 9–10 is the first ordinary weekend after the autumn holidays, and the listings make the most of it: nearly a thousand events across the country. Tel Aviv leads (385), followed by Haifa and Jerusalem, with plenty in Rishon LeZion, Herzliya, Ramat Gan and Holon too.
Every genre is covered: around a hundred concerts, close to two hundred plays and shows, film screenings, exhibitions and more than 150 workshops. For walkers there are about 130 tours, such as "Bulgakov's Jerusalem". Haifa hosts a cat and kitten show. Over a hundred events for kids and 63 free ones — a full weekend on any budget.
