
A new play based on the classic by Tennessee Williams, at the Cameri Theatre in Tel Aviv. Blanche arrives at her sister’s home and encounters a violent confrontation and secrets from the past.
A new stage adaptation of Tennessee Williams’s timeless classic, exploring the feeling of alienation and difference in a society where we are all desperate to feel that we belong. After losing her home and her job, Blanche travels to find some peace with her younger sister Stella and her rough, violent husband Stanley, who drives her to a breaking point from which there is no way back.

Upon arriving at her sister’s home, Blanche is horrified to discover that the two live in a crumbling, cramped apartment in a poor immigrant neighborhood. Stanley appears to her as a rough and violent man, and the encounter between him and Blanche leads to a head-on collision, at the height of which passions run high and secrets from the past rise to the surface, threatening to overwhelm her mind.
