An anti-romantic comedy at the Beit Lessin Theater in Tel Aviv. The plot deals with revenge, betrayals, and lies among three couples.
A hilarious anti-romantic comedy: When Nurit discovers that her husband is cheating on her, she demands to meet the lover’s husband to plan their revenge. When the meeting takes place, Nurit encounters a completely different couple: her daughter and a confused young man. But this is only the beginning of an equally crazy evening that pushes the boundaries between love, revenge, and everything in between.
Written by Noam Gil | Directed by Udi Gotshalk | Featuring Limor Goldstein, Muli Shulman, Hai Maor, Keren Mor-Mishori, Adi Tzemach, Dali Shachnai
Nurit’s revenge is delayed when she is forced to answer the probing questions her daughter poses to her. Nurit is torn between the need to set an example for her daughter and her desire for revenge against her husband, which has yet to be satisfied. And when the cheating husband finally arrives with his mistress, the meeting spirals out of control and becomes a madcap comedy of errors, in which lies are exposed and mutual accusations are hurled. Will the three couples manage to untangle the knots and rediscover the romance that has disappeared from their lives? And if so, at what price?
The play was presented as a staged reading as part of the “Opening the Stage” Festival 2024.
