A new comedy play about Naomi and Norma. The play is showing at the Cameri Theatre, 19 Shaul HaMelech Boulevard, Tel Aviv.
Naomi Dekel, a recent divorcee from Eilat, is forced to move to Metula and care for Norma Shlain: a lonely and bitter elderly woman, formerly a lawyer, who is now a serial caregiver-firer. When Eitan, Naomi’s ex-husband, discovers that she left their daughters with a friend, he contacts the welfare authorities and threatens to take custody of them away from her. Naomi is forced to return urgently to Eilat, dragging Norma along against her will.
The journey, which begins with power struggles between the two protagonists, develops into a surprising, funny, and powerful relationship that will change their lives completely. A new comedy by the creators of the successful play Genius in a Cage, with the support of the Yona Ettinger–Howard Gilman Foundation.
