A documentary theater-movement performance about fatherhood, at the Tmuna Theater in Tel Aviv. Three men examine the gap between the fathers they are and the ones they dreamed of becoming.
A documentary theater-and-movement creation addressing the question of fatherhood and whether to become a father or not. Three men on one stage—a future father, a young father, and a grandfather—try to answer this question. Through movement, texts from real interviews, and original music, an everyday poetics emerges onstage: between emotion and humor, between intimacy and chaos.
The performance moves between personal stories and is based on recorded interviews with people about their fathers or about being fathers themselves. The texts heard onstage, taken from real interviews, present the gap between the father we are and the father we always dreamed of becoming.
