A divorced retiree in her sixties lives in a small town in the United States. She loves cooking, and her boldest dream is a vegetable garden in the backyard. When the retiree looks for a roommate, a wild New Yorker appears—lesbian, vegan, and hiding a skeleton or two in her closet. To everyone’s surprise, Sharon is not deterred by her new roommate’s tempestuous presence and is even drawn into her world. What begins as an innocent roommate arrangement turns into a dangerous adventure that neither of them expected.

THE ROOMMATE is presented by special arrangement with United Talent Agency.
