The comedy “The Duck” will be presented at Habima Theatre, Habima Square, Tel Aviv. Hans and Franz, two Nazi soldiers, are waiting for the delayed train.
Hantz and Franz, two Nazi soldiers, are stuck in the middle of the forest, waiting for a train that is supposed to arrive in ten minutes. The only problem is that it has been due to arrive in ten minutes for hours.
From here, everything gets complicated: Eurovision, diamonds, Sigmund Freud, joints from Berlin, Ofra Haza, a book burning that gets out of control, hallucinogenic mushrooms, high-school traumas, and one Jewish prisoner who insists he is actually... a duck.
“The Duck” is a wild, hilarious, and surprising comedy that proves that even in the strangest places, people can simply be people. Or ducks. And sometimes that is the funniest thing in the world.
