Join us for a unique evening by the sea featuring the music of Sting, hundreds of candles, the ancient walls of an Armenian monastery, and live performances by a jazz band with vocalist Tommer Hesseg.
On this evening, legendary songs by Sting—Shape of My Heart, Englishman in New York, Fragile, Every Breath You Take, Desert Rose, and others—will be performed in an intimate, warm, and lively jazz interpretation. This is not an orchestral spectacle, but a delicate musical texture: vocals, rhythm section, improvisation, the breath of the sea, and the atmosphere of Old Jaffa.
The main voice of the evening is Tommer Hesseg. His velvet timbre and refined sense of style will allow you to hear familiar Sting songs in a new way: closer, deeper, almost personal.

Performers:
- Vocals: Tommer Hesseg. Israeli singer, conductor, and composer. Holds a doctoral degree in music, graduate of Beit-Zvi School of Performing Arts, soloist and conductor of leading national ensembles.
- Jazz Band: Musicians from the SymFunny Orchestra project in a jazz ensemble format: artists with academic experience from leading theaters and philharmonics, as well as active participants in Israel's contemporary music scene.
Practical Information:
- The concert takes place on an open-air venue within the territory of an ancient seaside monastery. Evenings by the sea can be cool, so we recommend bringing a light wrap or something warm.
- There is no bar or café on the monastery grounds.
- Entry to the monastery is via the Jaffa Promenade, not through the Old City.
