Beatles go Latin!!!

A Latin Jazz celebration with the songs of the Beatles. An international ensemble, led by pianist and arranger Gil Zohar, takes a selection of the Beatles' songs to the surprising rhythmic territories of South America, with samba, salsa, mambo, and bossa nova rhythms, combined uniquely with jazz. What a great, thrilling, and joyful way to start a Saturday morning!!!

Gil Zohar is a musician, yoga teacher, coach, and therapist. He plays piano, bass guitar, flute, and sings. He has performed (and still performs) alongside Israel's top artists in Israel and worldwide such as Achinoam Nini, Shlomo Artzi, Gidi Gov, Mati Caspi, among others, and at jazz festivals in Israel and abroad. Gil serves as a teacher at Rimon School and integrates the worlds of coaching, yoga, and music to provide his students with unique tools for personal, artistic, and emotional development.

Songs to be performed include: "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "Norwegian Wood," "The Long and Winding Road," "Till There Was You," "Day Tripper," "Here, There and Everywhere," "Eleanor Rigby," and "Girl."
