The Hard Jazz Knights, led by Amikam Kimelman, host singer Yoel Lerner.

The Hard Jazz Knights give the songs of "The Fabulous Four" a jazz character and style through new arrangements in various genres such as swing, bossa nova, ballads, and blues.

The ensemble is led by Amikam Kimelman, along with a selection of top-tier jazz musicians, including EWI player Eli Benakut, pianist Avi Adrian, bassist Arye Volnitz, and drummer Eitan Itzkovich.

In honor of the YPOJazz Festival, the ensemble will be joined by singer/songwriter Yoel Lerner, along with Swedish trumpeter Anders Bergcrantz and Israeli percussionist Gilad Duvdevani.

The Hard Jazz Knights have performed countless times across the country, including at the Eilat Jazz Festival, the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, the Baku (Azerbaijan) Jazz Festival, White Night, concerts and jazz clubs throughout Israel, and on television programs. They recorded an album and participated in a special project with the Be'er Sheva Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Doron Salomon and singer/songwriter Alon Orlatzik.

Singer/songwriter Yoel Lerner first gained fame for singing the song "Shomer HaChomot" (Guarding the Walls) during his military service with the Central Command Entertainment Unit. After his discharge, he worked with various artists, including Yehonatan Geffen, Esther Shamir, Ephraim Shamir, and Nurit Galron. He participated alongside Avner Kaner and Mazi Cohen in "VeHaYeled HaZe Hu Ani" (And This Child Is Me) and was later a member of the legendary ensemble "Premiere." Yoel contributed to recording albums for many artists, including Eric Eidelson, Uni Rechter, Miki Gavrielov, Shlomo Chono, and others. He wrote songs for Gidi Gov, Ariki Sini, and others. Yoel is a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in Tel Aviv and is a founder/partner of the band "The Sixties," which has been performing successfully since the mid-1980s to the present day.
