In 1947, six people and one parrot embarked on a journey considered impossible. They built a primitive raft and set sail on a 7,000-kilometer voyage across the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Their goal was to prove that humans could sail from South America to the remote islands of Polynesia. Did they succeed?
