Lecture for parents on the process of saying goodbye to diapers as a developmental challenge for the child, presented by Daphna Eitan. We will discuss how parents can successfully accompany the process.
Congratulations, your child has progressed to a municipal kindergarten!
Transitioning to a municipal kindergarten brings challenges for our child; it's a leap in social, physical, emotional development, and more. One expectation at this stage is toilet training, a very significant and important process at this age.
As with any challenge, it is important that our child undergoes it with confidence and with the right guidance from us, the parents, so they complete it with experiences of success, a sense of capability, and meaningful learning.
In the lecture, we will discuss what children need in order to learn to listen to their needs, to know how to pause and ensure they act accordingly. We will talk about completing the process effectively so that they are free for other daily tasks (such as exploration and experimentation, social relationships, and more).
The lecture will be delivered by Dafna Eitan, a social worker, educational consultant, and toilet training consultant. Dafna is a certified parent group facilitator from the Adler Institute and the Ministry of Education and lectures in the municipal parenthood center team.
The lecture is free of charge with prior registration. A Zoom link will be sent to the email and WhatsApp address on the day of the lecture.
