Broken - Shaburim Shaburot

Between the failed dates, the conversations that lead nowhere, the expectations that were shattered, and the disappointments that came three minutes after the "it was fun, we'll talk" – a new show produced by the Enav Cultural Center delves into all those small, awkward, and painful moments that make up single life. Dialogues and familiar love songs from all times are interwoven to create a sharp, funny, and painful mirror image of a generation seeking love.

The performance, based on true stories and posts from the web, was written by Noa Gendelman and directed by Ido Kolton, dedicated to anyone who has ever had a broken heart and somehow still believes in love. It holds up a mirror to a generation living in constant tension between the desire for commitment and the fear of truly committing. The actor-creators bring true stories from their own personal lives to the stage, with the city of Tel Aviv, with its variety of entertainment venues, playing a central role in the feeling of FOMO - the fear of missing out on experiences or opportunities that others are experiencing, which governs the lives of singles.
