Scientific Tuesday in Chemistry is an event that includes various workshops for different age groups. Children can mix substances and conduct experiments such as an erupting volcano or molecular cooking. The event provides educational and enjoyable opportunities for children to learn about chemical reactions in an experiential way.
Science Art - Bilingual |
First round for ages 2-3 with a parent | 16:30
Second round for ages 4-6 | 17:30
A particularly colorful acids and bases workshop.
Children will mix materials and experience colorful fermentation experiments.
A workshop full of sensory experience, fascinating and makes science accessible in the most fun way possible!
Volcano Workshop | Ages 4-6 | 16:30-17:30
Ready for an explosion of fun? Children are invited to an intriguing volcano workshop!
A scientific experiment where each child will cause a volcano to erupt in colorful, foamy, and fizzy lava.
Molecular Cooking
First round for ages 6-8 | 16:30-17:20
Second round for ages 9-12 | 17:30-18:20
What happens when science meets culinary art? This week in "Scientific Tuesday" we will explore the chemical reactions behind the most curious dishes in the world. In the workshop, we will learn about principles of matter structure and texture changes and learn to apply them ourselves: starting with creative pasta preparation with fruit and cocoa flavors, through the technique of spherification (creating delicious spheres) to creating surprising foam. Don't miss out!
Epoxy Workshop
First round for ages 9-12 | 16:30-17:20
Second round for ages 7-8 | 17:30-18:20
Come and discover the world of epoxy – a liquid material that solidifies through a chemical reaction and becomes hard and shiny. During the workshop, participants will create a colorful, changing light pyramid using special molds and amazing decorations, and finally – place the creation in a UV lamp, where the transformation happens in just 60 seconds.
