Join Qigong classes at the Tel Baruch Beach Community Center to experience ancient Chinese body-mind practices. The exercises are designed to strengthen, relax, and improve balance. Suitable for men and women aged 18 and above.
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese mind-body practice method that includes a series of movement exercises accompanied by breathing. The practice strengthens and relaxes, develops coordination and balance, improves posture, increases joint flexibility, and contributes to vitality and internal balance. It's a profound experience that touches the essence of human nature.
A Qi Gong class in a group usually takes place standing in a circle, combining flowing movements, breathing, static positions, and steps in space. During the class, we will practice short series of exercises inspired by Dao philosophy and Chinese philosophy, emphasizing softness, economical effort, slowing down, and quieting the mind.
