An artistic summit meeting between movement, time, and space: Agam Museum hosts the Vertigo Dance Company with "Nona" – an intimate and special version created for the museum space. The conceptual connection between the languages is almost inevitable – similar to Yaakov Agam’s kinetic work, which examines continuous movement and change, the new creation by Noa Vertheim and Rana Koren Vertheim dives into the fourth dimension, asking: Does time pass over us, or do we move within it?
"Nona" is an attempt to examine quantum time," explains Noa Vertheim. "A space where all possibilities are open, and in a single moment, a collision occurs between the multi-dimensionality of existence and the linearity of daily life." Between the rush of modern culture and the silence, the piece rests on the Fates' threads that weave the thread of human life. On stage, dancers move within the mechanical rhythm of the modern world, running forward yet remaining in place, in the tension between movement and stagnation. Then, suddenly, the rhythm slows down. Time releases itself from urgency and makes room for contemplation, grace, and presence. 'Nona' is an invitation to stop and understand that while time slips away from us, it is also the only thing we have – like a thin thread that can be unraveled and rewoven.
270° Intimate Experience
The performance will take place in a unique museum version featuring seating arranged in a 270° circle around the stage. This is an exceptional space that brings the audience as close as possible to the dancers, where the body speaks, time slows down, and a live, once-in-a-lifetime connection is woven between art and the present moment.
