
A series of remembrance and heroism events will take place on October 11–13, 2026, throughout Rishon LeZion, in lounges, pubs, and coffee carts. Admission is free with advance registration.

On the third anniversary of October 7 and the “Swords of Iron” War, the Community Administration and the Administration for Social Integration of the Rishon LeZion Municipality invite you to take part in the “Coffee. Memory. Story” initiative—a series of intimate meetings dedicated to remembrance and heroism.
The meetings will take place from October 11–13, 2026 (Sunday–Tuesday), from 8:00–10:00 p.m.
Join us in hosting bereaved families in living rooms, pubs, and coffee carts throughout the city.
A voucher for free coffee and a pastry for those who register in advance (*limited number).
At Bernard Pub, you can hear the story of Eden Ben-Ruby, of blessed memory, who was murdered at the Nova festival. The meeting will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 8:00–10:00 p.m., at Bernard Bar-Restaurant, 77 Rothschild Street.

At “Amalula BaGina” coffee cart, you can hear the story of Karin Varnikob, of blessed memory, who was murdered at the Nova festival. The meeting will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 8:00–10:00 p.m., at the “Amalula” coffee cart, Leadership Garden, 78 Ben-Gurion Boulevard.

In the Gottlieb family’s living room, you can hear the story of Staff Sergeant Matan Gottlieb, who fell in battle during Operation Protective Edge. The meeting will take place on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 8:00–10:00 p.m., in the Banot Hayil neighborhood, 63 Hannah Rovina Street.

At the “Irus Café” coffee cart, you can hear the story of Staff Sergeant Bar Rosenstein, of blessed memory, who fell during the “Swords of Iron” War. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 8:00–10:00 p.m., in the Irus neighborhood, 7 Shimshon Zelig Street.
