At the center of the program will be the rich sound of the harp, which so captivated the best French composers at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries: the wonderful and intimate Impromptu, the delicate Sicilienne for flute and harp by Gabriel Fauré, and the biting trio by Jacques Ibert. Additionally, the virtuoso duo for violin and cello by Maurice Ravel will be performed.
