A creative workshop for making decorative items from recycled jeans and plaster. The workshop takes place on HaAliya HaShlishit Street in Ramat Gan.
“Jeans Albalat” is an eco-friendly brand focused on designing decorative items from recycled jeans, with the aim of combining creativity and environmental awareness. The brand emphasizes sustainability, design using reused materials, and protecting the environment. The workshops combine crafting, design, and experiential learning, offering an activity that connects creativity, nature, and care for the planet.
In the workshop, each participant will create two decorative items of their choice—such as candleholders, vases, or candle stands—from recycled jeans and environmentally friendly plaster.
In addition to the two items you create, you can choose the second part of the workshop:
Option 1 – Basic workshop:
We will delve into the history of jeans, learn about production processes and sustainability, and understand how reuse can change the way we consume products. Finally, we will hold a short activity, quiz-style, featuring interesting facts about jeans and sustainability.
Option 2 – Premium workshop: Jeans creation challenge:
This is the time to let your imagination work and use special pieces and leftover jeans—fabric, pockets, buttons, seams, and more—to create a unique handmade item.
In addition to the creative activity, participants will gain practical knowledge about sustainability and making use of materials, along with fascinating facts about the history of jeans, weaving and textile methods, and the environmental impact of the fashion industry.
The workshop is suitable for all levels—both beginners and people with a background in crafting—and provides a creative and enjoyable learning experience.
