The course will teach the survival chain in cases of cardiac arrest in children and infants. It will include basic CPR, use of a defibrillator, and treatment for choking. Additionally, it will cover topics such as identification and treatment of allergies and common emergency situations.
The course will cover the following topics:
- The chain of survival for cardiac arrest in children and infants
- Basic resuscitation for children and infants
- Use of an automatic defibrillator
- Treatment for choking (foreign object obstruction)
- Identification and treatment of allergies including the use of an EpiPen
- Identification and treatment of common emergencies in children and infants
*The course will also address emergency situations, including: treatment of injuries/burns/fractures, use of a tourniquet, response to terror attacks, and more.
