A professional portrait photography day will take place at the greenhouse in the Petah Tikva Young Adults Center. Participants are asked to arrive 5–10 minutes before the scheduled time, already dressed and made up. The participation fee is 50 NIS.
How great that you registered for the photoshoot on August 26!
Whether you’ve been photographed before or not, we promise it will be fun. Come curious and open-minded.
A few very important points to note:
First of all—iron your clothes. Regardless of the look, it’s important that your outfit is ironed and not wrinkled.
Get a good night’s sleep beforehand. Arrive fresh and drink plenty of water.
It’s best not to wear shirts with busy patterns, checks, or text, as these draw the eye away from the person being photographed and toward the text.
It’s best to avoid overly “complicated” shirt cuts—shirts with puffed shoulders or excess fabric, creative cutouts, and so on. What looks nice for going out doesn’t necessarily work for professional portraits. The goal should be to choose something as “clean” as possible, allowing your face and personality to come through without distracting visual complexity.
Wear something in which you feel beautiful and impressive, and that you feel flatters you.
Your clothing also depends on your work, what you would like to convey, and your personality.
You can always play it safe with basic shades—black, white, and gray. I recommend color combinations: choose the colors that flatter you. Good options include brown, light blue, and olive green.
Avoid clothes that don’t fit you well, feel tight, or are less comfortable.
As for makeup—please arrive wearing makeup, if possible.
