A gathering featuring two lectures. Prof. Uzi Rabi will discuss current affairs in the Middle East and their implications for Israel’s security. Hillel Yagel will lead a literary journey following Amos Oz and discuss the female voice in Israeli literature.
Lecturer: Prof. Uzi Rabi, researcher at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, Tel Aviv University
The lecture will address a current issue in the Middle East, as of the lecture date; analyze its complexity and various aspects; and examine its implications for Israel’s security and the regional balance of power.
Lecturer: Hillel Yagel, literature and poetry researcher
The lecture will discuss and analyze the development and expression of the female voice in modern Israeli literature and culture, as reflected in Amos Oz’s masterpiece My Michael.
