This gripping musical follows the rise of Fanny Brice, a young Jewish woman from Brooklyn who does not fit any conventional mold but possesses exceptional comedic talent and unyielding determination. Against all odds, she breaks through to the center of New York's stage and becomes one of the greatest stars of her time. Alongside her professional success, a complex relationship develops between her and Nick Arnstein—a charming and ambitious man who lives on the edge and struggles to distance himself from the world of gambling.
Fanny's career soars with her joining the prestigious Ziegfeld Follies, but her personal life is shaken when Nick gets into trouble and is forced to leave the country. Choosing to follow him changes the course of her life, and when they return, she finds herself torn between the stage and a love that threatens to topple everything. Is there room for love when the price is so high?
