Sticky Bones Band (Rome)
Sticky Bones is an Italian ensemble specializing in traditional jazz with shades of blues in all its diversity, from the very origins of the genre between 1900 and 1935. Their sound is original, special, and slightly rough — transporting listeners to the atmosphere of jazz's early days: the era of vaudeville shows, small clubs, and establishments where barrelhouse music reigned in the 1920s and 1930s.
The band has performed at prestigious festivals, including Umbria Jazz, Ascona Jazz, and other leading jazz events in Europe.
Band members:
Irina Arosarena — vocals
Silvia Manco — piano
Sergio Piccarozzi — guitar and banjo
Maurizio Capuano — double bass and tuba
Francesco Marsigliese — cornet
Filippo Marino — clarinet
