To mark the opening of the Jerusalem Biennale, Engel Gallery invites you to the exhibition From the Depths of Time, dedicated to the work of Yaacov Agam.
Agam’s work exists in the tension between the static and the dynamic, between what is immediately visible and what unfolds over time. As one of the pioneers of kinetic and optical art, Agam transforms the artwork from a fixed object into a changing experience based on movement, discovery, and participation.
The exhibition invites viewers to encounter a world of color, movement, and time, in which every change in the angle of view reveals a new possibility, and every moment of observation becomes a unique experience.
