The Harish Municipality invites you to a lecture by Dor Dan, a Harish resident

When God Knocked on the Door

Dor, born in Kibbutz Nir Oz, tells his life story

A story of identity, faith, and choice

From his family roots, through his personal journey of returning to religious observance

To coping with the events of October 7 from a personal and family perspective

What small and great moments opened his heart along the way?

What does spiritual strengthening look like when it is born not from a crisis, but from a search?

And how can faith become an anchor of stability and security, even in moments of uncertainty?

The lecture opens with a moving video from an international documentary about his family

And continues with an honest, human, and inspiring story

Featuring a rich visual presentation, video clips, and moments of depth and humor

A lecture that connects different parts of Israeli society

And opens a dialogue about identity, faith, resilience, and hope
