Israeli Youth Theater Shaul Tiktiner New Year's Tale "The Snow Queen"

Winter. New Year. Snow. Windows at this time of year are covered with intricate patterns, and the streets and rooftops are wrapped in a white coat. It is at this time that the lights of New Year trees are lit, and the time of miracles begins. But alas, at the same time above the clouds, the cold and cruel Snow Queen glides in her sled. There is nothing more unpleasant for her than a warm good human heart. Of course, you guessed that this is the fairy tale "The Snow Queen"?

It was composed by the Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, and the talented playwright Yevgeny Schwartz wrote a play for children's theater based on it. The Israeli Youth Theater Shaul Tikitiner will present its theatrical version of this fairy tale during the New Year holidays. The play "The Snow Queen" is about goodness, happiness, and extraordinary love.

As soon as we hear the first sounds of the storyteller's mysterious and incomprehensible phrase "snip-snap-snure pure-bazelurre," we find ourselves in a magical world, both joyful and sad. There will be the boy Kai and the girl Gerda, kind Prince and Princess, a little robber, a reindeer, and many other fairy tale characters. The premiere of the fairy tale "The Snow Queen" was prepared by a large creative team:

The set designer O. Firer and his assistants created magnificent scenery and costumes, the lighting artist developed incredible lighting effects, and A. Kurazh choreographed funny dances. The acting ensemble can be described as wonderful talented professionals: T. Kotenicheva, S. Pasternak, Sh. Tikitiner, V. Klassen, B. Gorelik, I. Elizarev. And who plays the roles of Gerda, Kai, and the Little Robber is a pleasant surprise for young viewers. The production features beautiful music by composer Igor Stravinsky, directed by Shaul Tikitiner.
