A contemporary dance creation by Eyal Dadon, presenting movement within a space where the boundary between embrace and struggle becomes blurred. The piece is accompanied by original music and stage lighting that enhances the atmosphere.
Movement within tar is slow, dense, and resistant. Each step requires effort; every attempt to break free only pulls the body deeper inward. The piece places the body in a space where movement becomes complex, breathing is heavy, and the boundary between embrace and struggle blurs. The tar is not just a material but a state of being — physical, emotional, and mental. It envelops and entices, suffocates and stains, leaving marks that cannot be erased. TAR is a contemporary dance piece by Eyal Dadon, created in collaboration with Tamar Barlav. The lighting design by Felice Ross shapes the stage atmosphere and deepens the physical and emotional space of the piece. The original music by Gil Nemet and Eyal Dadon drives the work with an uncompromising rhythm and pulsating beats. It collides with the body, infusing it with energy, while sharpening the tension between external movement and internal noise.
