Lecture on Life in North Korea with Naftali Hilger, on December 2, 2026, at the Haifa Cinematheque. The event includes rare photographs from Pyongyang and the area between the North and South.
Lecturer: Naftali Hilger
Naftali Hilger took the risk of traveling to North Korea despite all the prohibitions, and returned with rare footage from his camera. At this meeting, Naftali will reveal North Korean life to us, against the backdrop of current and rare photographs. We will temporarily join 27 million North Koreans disconnected from the outside world and watch the greatest show on Earth: everyday life in North Korea…
We will also tour the capital city of Pyongyang and other areas between the North and the South, the most explosive region in the world. A fascinating meeting! Don’t miss it.
