The extreme metal festival TOXIC SUMMER will take place in Haifa, featuring key bands from the Israeli scene. On stage will perform Distorted, Mental Maze, Phantom Pain, and Collective Violence, representing various subgenres ranging from death metal to hardcore punk. The event promises to be energetic and aggressive, bringing together fans of heavy music.
DISTORTED
One of the most important and influential bands to emerge from the Israeli metal scene returns to Wonderbar. Distorted are not just another name on a lineup — they are part of the history of metal in Israel. Pioneers of the scene, featuring one of the first and most prominent female vocalists in Israeli metal, they returned after a long hiatus a few years ago and have not stopped dominating stages since with sharp, heavy, and energy-filled performances.
With new singles, a newly released music video, and a sound that connects dark melody, heaviness, groove, and a stage presence of a band that knows exactly what it is doing — Distorted come to Haifa to remind everyone why this name still burns.

MENTAL MAZE
After turning Haifa into a battlefield with a monstrous launch performance for their new EP Here Goes Nothing, Mental Maze return to Wonderbar to continue the destruction — this time with an even heavier, sharper, and more violent set.
The veteran Brutal Death band from Haifa, active within the underground scene since 2008, brings bone-crushing grooves, air-stealing breakdowns, ruthless technique, and energy that explodes straight into your face.
This is not just another set. It is a pit that opens from the very first second.
If you missed the last frenzy — on 28.09 you get another chance to understand why everyone is talking about Mental Maze.

PHANTOM PAIN
Phantom Pain arrive at Wonderbar with an attack of aggressive, precise, and ruthless Technical Death Metal. The band has built its reputation in the local scene thanks to a lethal combination of complex riffs, insane drumming, sharp transitions, and a sound that leaves no room to breathe. Every song is a journey of calculated chaos, speed, groove, and top-tier technique.
For fans of Death, Obscura, Necrophagist, Beyond Creation, and anyone who likes their metal complex, heavy, and cruel — this is going to be one of the most dangerous shows of the night.
On 28.09 they take the Wonderbar stage to remind everyone why death metal is still alive.

This is a set meant for pits, bodychecks, screams, and moments when the entire crowd moves together.
