The children’s play “More Than One Story” for ages 7–15 will take place at the Ganey Tikva Stage Center. Inspired by the film “The Intouchables,” it tells the story of Shaul, a commander in Unit 669, and Amir, a student with difficulties.

Shaul, a commander in Unit 669 who was wounded in the war and is confined to a wheelchair, meets Amir—a student who struggles with institutional frameworks, gets involved in a theft, and reluctantly becomes Shaul’s assistant and caregiver.
Amid confrontations, humor, and music, layers that cannot be seen from the outside are revealed: Shaul is not only a wounded fighter, but also a man fighting for the right to love; and Amir is not only a teenager who struggles to function within institutions, but also an artist with a big heart and songs longing to be heard.
A moving play for young audiences about identity and second chances—and about the moment when we realize that each of us is more than one story.
