In an old house facing the sea, family secrets are exposed, old scores settled, war traumas and questions about generational inheritance, masculinity, old age, and death come to light. Between glasses of raki, sharp humor, and moments of grace, each of the men is forced to look anew at his father, his son—and at himself. This is a contemporary, sharp, and moving Israeli play that weaves turbulent family drama with a keen perspective on the entire Israeli narrative: what passes from generation to generation, and what can still be changed.
