A tribute concert to Eugen Doga will take place on November 16, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the “Tamuz” Music House in Beersheba.
On June 3, 2025, Yevgeny Doga died in Chișinău, and on June 5, Moldova declared a national day of mourning for the composer whose waltz from the film My Sweet and Tender Beast is known throughout the country and around the world. A year and a half later, his music returns to the Israeli stage: from November 10 to 22, 2026, the “The Waltz Continues” tour will take place—a tribute evening in nine cities, from Ma’alot in the north to Beersheba in the south.
Yevgeny Doga in Israel 2026 is not a memorial ceremony but a live concert. Performing on stage will be Leonid Serebrennikov, Methodie Buzhor, the group DoReDoS, Konstantin Moskovich, the Orizont ensemble, Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, Yevgeny Volkov, and Valentina Nezhel.
The program is intended for those for whom Doga’s melodies are part of their personal biographies, as well as for those who will hear them live for the first time. Tickets for all nine dates go on sale on September 6, 2026.
