On the eve of the December holidays, Zero Theater invites you to its Grand New Year’s Show!
Celebrating the New Year with Zero Theater has long become a cherished tradition for many Russian-speaking Israelis of all ages. Adults and children alike fondly recall previous wonderful New Year’s performances such as Humpbacked Horse, Vasilisa the Beautiful, Grand New Year’s Carnival of Fairy Tales, and Morozko—where audiences were greeted by Father Frost, his granddaughter Snegurochka, a dazzling giant Christmas tree, cheerful games, fireworks, catchy songs, and interactive segments involving the entire audience from young to old. In short, these are the memories that remain forever in our childhood as an unforgettable echo of unique magic: “One, two, three—Christmas tree, light up!”
This time, the actors of the theater will wholeheartedly strive to bring this joy to our children, assisted by the brightest character of Russian fairy tales: Baba Yaga! The main hero of this interactive theatrical performance is New Year’s Adventures of Baba Yaga! You are in for a bright and funny show featuring miracles, transformations, numerous characters in beautiful costumes, and a “real” Winter Forest—a magnificent theatrical set design!
This is a true family holiday. The production will delight both children and adults with its vibrancy, freshness, and wonderful atmosphere. It features plenty of music, dance, and special effects, while the fairy-tale adventures of the heroes in the New Year’s Forest are handled with imagination and humor. And what amazing characters will appear before the audience!
Just imagine: Mowgli and Baloo, Pippi Longstocking, Fly the Tsokotukha, the Evil Spider and the Brave Gnat, Residents of the Little House, Three Little Pigs, Leopold and the cunning Mice, Python Kaa, and many more! Connecting them all in exciting adventures in the Magic Forest is everyone’s beloved fairy-tale figure—Baba Yaga!
All of this was created and brought to life in a bright and original theatrical presentation by Marina Belyavtseva and Oleg Rodovilsky. Exquisite music in the Russian folk style, the most beautiful costumes, and magnificent decor were created by A. Bar-Dov. The author of pyrotechnics and special effects is Yasmin Rodovilsky. On stage again are the theater’s favorite performers: Marina Belyavtseva, Sofya Shulman, Oleg Rodovilsky, Anna Vinokur, Roman Djura, Anna Kordonskaya, and others.
All of this guarantees that you will receive the best New Year impression imaginable! And, of course, as is proper for the New Year, every child will receive a magical gift directly from the hands of Father Frost!
