A comedy play about a couple of teachers at a girls’ religious high school who have separated but continue to work together, while their new romances rock the teachers’ room. 20/05/2027 at the Arieh Kaspi Cultural Center.
One day, Hananel leaves Makhbit, leaving her stunned and hurt, with small curly-haired twin daughters. The problem is that Hananel and Makhbit do not really separate: they see each other every day at the girls’ religious high school where they work—he as the school custodian and she as a counselor. The complication begins when Makhbit discovers that Hananel is dating the school’s national-service volunteer, and in response, she begins going on arranged dates. Now Makhbit’s new life drives Hananel out of his mind. Before long, the small-scale relationship drama shakes up the entire teachers’ lounge, which was not particularly stable to begin with.
Amusing to the point of tears.
