When Hanna, a 60-year-old religious widow from Ramat Gan, discovers that a mysterious woman has been buried in the plot reserved for her beside her late husband, she is determined to find out who the woman is and reclaim the place where she planned to spend eternity.
But she soon discovers that, without intending to, she has created an almighty uproar—and now the whole world is against her: the chevra kadisha, the community, and even her family. Her only chance of discovering the mysterious woman’s identity is a retired lawyer named Hanna, an Arab-Christian widower from Jaffa who happens to enter her photography shop and agrees to help her.
Together, Hanna and Hanna embark on a journey that will reveal to them both that there is life after death…
A tearfully funny comedy-drama about a woman fighting for a burial plot, only to find herself falling in love with life all over again.
