Once, he taught millions how to distinguish quality products from counterfeits. Now, he is the one being examined. In this new show, the audience decides if it's worth investing in a person who has always worn a television mask. Each story raises the trust rating. Any falseness could leave the protagonist with nothing. In an attempt to hold the audience, the former TV host uncovers his own life – his childhood, his first lie, television, emigration, and the fear of one day becoming unnecessary. But the more honest the evening becomes, the more dangerous the main question arises: Is it even possible to tell the truth when an entire show is built on your sincerity? "Shelf Life" is an ironic drama about publicity, emigration, and the cost of human approval.
