“Motek Shel Festival,” a show produced by the creators of Festigal, returns this year with Motek FOREVER—a new show that brings the connection between generations to the stage through the music we all grew up with, offering an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
Over the years, “Motek Shel Festival” has become one of the Hanukkah traditions associated with family entertainment in Israel, and one of the country’s leading Hanukkah productions, with a series of successful shows that received artistic acclaim and enthusiastic responses from audiences and critics.
For the first time, children’s stars from three generations will meet on one stage: Hani Nachmias and Michal Yannai, who starred in the childhood soundtracks of entire generations; Miki Ma Nishmiki, Kogumelo, and Kofiko; and the stars of Paw Patrol, representing the current generation of children’s heroes.
Together, they create a musical journey through the songs and hits that have accompanied children and families over the years—from the classics and greatest hits that will remain forever to the songs capturing children’s hearts today. Without revealing all the surprises and songs awaiting audiences, Motek FOREVER is a musical celebration that brings beloved and familiar moments back to the stage and gives them new life.
At the heart of the show is the “Song Factory,” a secret and magical place where everyone’s childhood soundtrack is kept. At its center stands a magical melody machine that knows exactly which song should play at every moment. But when Miki, Kogumelo, and Kofiko accidentally press the button they were not supposed to press, everything goes wrong, and the melodies stop finding their way to people’s hearts.
Together with Hani Nachmias and Michal Yannai, they set out on a journey to save the Song Factory. Along the way, they travel through musical worlds, songs, memories, and moments that connect the past with the present.
A large, high-quality, and spectacular production awaits onstage, featuring an expansive stage, glittering sets, dancers, stunt performers, sweeping choreography, effects, and surprises—while the songs parents grew up with receive new arrangements and new life within a contemporary, energetic stage experience.
This is a show created precisely for the moment when grandparents, parents, and children sit together in the auditorium, recognize the same melodies, sing the same words, and become one audience.
