The Israeli Hour Theater for Children and Youth proudly presents: "The Wizard of Oz" | The musical adaptation of the wonderful classic by Frank Baum. The play tells the story of Dorothy, a sweet and innocent girl, and her beloved dog Toto, who are swept away by a cyclone to the distant and magical land of Oz. Dorothy, who only wishes to return home, meets a good witch who advises her to go to the great wizard from the Emerald City in hopes that he can fulfill her wish to reunite with her family. The journey to the wizard turns into an adventure in a fantasy land. During it, Dorothy meets funny and touching characters who wish to rely on the wizard's abilities to fulfill their heart's desires: Scarecrow - the lovable and brainless scarecrow, who wishes for wisdom. Tin Man - the Tin Man who dreams of having a heart to feel and love. Lion - the cowardly lion seeking courage. The friends' journey is filled with obstacles, and along the way, they learn about friendship, helping others, kindness, and the love of home and family. What awaits them in the Emerald City? What will they discover about the Wizard of Oz? Will they succeed in fulfilling their wishes?
