A children’s play about a lion and a giraffe who set out on a journey after the loss of the lion’s mane. The play is intended for children from kindergarten through third grade and takes place in Ramat HaSharon.
The Lion Who Lost His Mane and the Giraffe Too
Inspired by the book by Dov Alboim
Just before he is crowned King of the Beasts—and just after losing his mane—the lion and his giraffe friend embark on a journey full of adventures and challenges. In the end, he hopes, he will regain his mane. But what they discover along the way turns out to be more important than even the most regal mane.
A moving and surprising story about change and transformation, accepting those who are different, true friendship, and personal identity.
