When you hear the names Valery Daineko, Igor Penya, Oleg Averin, or Alexander Katikov, the first thought is - "Pesnyary"! And no further explanations are needed because today they are the direct successors of the true legacy of "Pesnyary"! These artists, who joined the ensemble during Vladimir Mulyavin's time, preserve the unique singing traditions of Belarus's legendary VJO's "golden" lineup.
From November 16 to 23, for the first time in Israel, there will be a tour by Belarusian Legends who at one time formed the musical foundation of Mulyavin's "Pesnyary."
The ensemble's concert consists of numerous hits written by "Pesnyary" and for "Pesnyary" over the years, forming the "Golden Collection" of the renowned VJO. Their "crystal" polyphony literally envelops the audience, with each song accompanied by long, stormy applause. Wherever the group performs, their concerts are consistently breathtaking.

Despite the fact that many compositions were written almost half a century ago, they invariably immerse the audience in an unparalleled atmosphere of joy and celebration. The secret is simple: it lies in the unique combination of authentic motifs with modern musical sounds, multiplied by the rare vocal capabilities of the ensemble's soloists.
Today’s repertoire and the singing traditions of the collective largely follow the precepts of Vladimir Mulyavin. Members and authors of many of the collective's songs – Oleg Averin, Valery Daineko, Alik Katikov, using the exceptional possibilities of modern musical instruments, skillfully create an unparalleled rhythmic foundation based on the innovative musical foundation laid by Mulyavin as early as the '70s. Primarily, this is the signature "Pesnyary" four-part harmony: although incredibly complex, it is equally incredibly beautiful! Therefore, the new arrangements are very much in tune with the classic ones that fans of "Pesnyary" cherish.
Ensemble members:
Valery Daineko, the legendary soloist of the "Pesnyary" ensemble, a Meritorious Artist of the Republic of Belarus (RB). Having refused a solo career in favor of collective creativity, he has remained the best male voice in his country for many decades.
Igor Penya – the unchanging soloist of the "Pesnyary" ensemble, a Meritorious Artist of RB. His voice has been heard in unforgettable songs for over 40 years, such as "Vologda," "Birch Sap," "Alesya," "Belarus," and others. If Valery Daineko is called the "golden tenor," then Igor Penya is the power, lyricism, and incredible vocal range.
Oleg Averin – vocals, keyboards, guitar, composer of the ensemble, performer of songs "Our Favorites," "Half an Hour Before Spring," "How Deep Is Your Love," and more. His songs and arrangements are indispensable to today’s ensemble, showcasing his versatility and talent: from arranging melodic folk songs for "Pesnyary" to participating in joint concerts with Deep Purple.
Alexander Katikov – virtuoso bass guitarist, vocalist, composer. A key figure in the ensemble. Alexander is a versatile musician who makes a significant contribution to the contemporary sound of the group. He is the author of many songs included in the group's "golden collection."
Alexander Solovyov – lead guitar, vocals, the "guitar voice" of the ensemble. His entry into the group helped maintain the drive and contemporary guitar sound. Alexander is a very technical guitarist who takes on the most complex solo parts, participating in creating the group's signature polyphony.
Maxim Pugachyov – keyboardist, composer, author of many arrangements for such popular songs as "Kasіŭ Yas’ Kanyushynu," "Alesya," "Zacharavanaya Maya," and many others.
