Dan Ettinger conducts Berlioz and a world premiere by Ella Milch-Sheriff, titled 'Akhalem' (Dreams) 2026. Text by Orit Fox-Rotem (from the screenplay for the film "Cinema Sabaya"). The piece is sung in four languages: Hebrew, Arabic, Persian, and Yemeni. Musically, the piece draws inspiration from both Persian folk women’s songs and Yemeni songs. During the composition of the piece, a war broke out between Israel, the USA, and Iran, leading to a complete blending of identities in the Middle East. Similarly, in the composition, there is a blend of identities. The two singers alternate singing in different languages, with no single distinct identity for each singer.
