A Family Hike Among the Eucalyptus Trees Along the Hermon Stream
A family water hike along the Hermon Stream will take place on October 1, 2026, between Sde Nehemia and She'ar Yashuv. The route is easy and includes swimming in pools.

About the Activity
Join us for a magical and enjoyable water hike along one of the most beautiful sections of the Israel National Trail in the Hula Valley.
The route stretches at the foot of the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon, offering a pleasant, mostly shaded walk combining rich streamside vegetation, tall eucalyptus trees, clear pools of water, and open views.
We will begin the journey at the Eucalyptus Parking Area in Sde Nehemia, where we will join the Israel National Trail markings.
We will walk north along a comfortable, shaded path beside the stream, with the route accompanied by reeds, wild blackberry bushes, and spectacular views toward the Hula Valley and Mount Hermon rising to the north.
During the walk, we will stop at one of the beautiful pools along the way to enjoy the refreshing shade, rest beside the water, and, of course, take a refreshing dip.
After the break, we will continue north along the trail to the Nabi Yehuda area and the southern entrance to She’ar Yashuv, where we will finish the hike.

We will arrange a vehicle shuttle to the beginning of the route.
